Microtrade

MicroTrade aims to promote cross-border trade and business co-operation specifically within the micro-enterprise sector. MicroTrade is built upon a three-way partnership between InterTradeIreland, the City and County Enterprise Boards of the Republic of Ireland and the Local Enterprise Agencies of Northern Ireland.

The main supports offered by the programme are:

  • Networking Events such as the MAIN EVENT (MicroTrade All-Island Networking) that took place over last couple couple of years.
  • Link-Up Funding for small businesses North and South which are working together to jointly develop or market products or services.
  • Tender Support in the form of training and mentoring for small businesses that are tendering for public sector contracts.
  • Online Cross-Border Trade Advice that will soon be available on our website with practical answers to some of the questions most commonly asked by small businesses beginning to trade on a cross-border basis.
