What is the West Cavan/West Fermanagh Regeneration Project?

Cavan County Enterprise Board in collaboration with Fermanagh Enterprise Ltd. and Cavan County Enterprise Fund have been awarded funding by International Fund for Ireland (IFI) to deliver the above project.

This project will deliver a number of invaluable initiatives to individuals, businesses and community/voluntary sectors across a series of project strands such as training, mentoring, networking and information seminars. The project will work towards creating and sustaining community development in the area. This will be achieved through the formation of forums, community and social networks and training which address personal as well as professional needs specific to the area. Supports will be made available to individuals and communities from both sides of the border. The project will also have a role to play in tourism development in the area by encouraging and supporting local communities to develop rural tourism businesses.
