Innovation Funding for Food IndustryThe Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Minister Brendan Smith T.D. announced details of innovation funding for small irish companies in the food industry. Innovation vouchers worth €5,000 can be applied for through Enterprise Ireland's Innovation Voucher Initiative. The deadline for application is 20th August 2010. National Enterprise Awards 2010The National Enterprise Awards competition is organised annually by the County & City Enterprise Boards of Ireland to acknowledge the achievements of the small business sector. Each participating board will select a county winner to be put forward to represent the county at regional and national final level in November. Details are available upon request. |

Revised Suite of Financial Supports on offer from CEBsA revised package of CEB Financial supports for new and expanding enterprises was recently announced by Mary Coughlan, Minister for Enterprise, Trade, and Employment. There are now 3 types of financial assistance that can be applied for – priming grants for new start-up companies and those in the first 18 months of trading , business development grants for expanding businesses, and feasibility/Innovation grants for those investigating new innovative business projects. The revised suite of supports remain focused on key priority sectors – including manufacturing, internationally tradable services, and businesses being established by those returning to the workforce. |
