Spring Training programme 2009.

As part of our Spring Training Schedule we are running a range of enterprise related training courses. Upcoming courses include Start Your Own Business and Costing & Pricing. The downloadable training booklet gives further details and booking instructions. Most of our courses are held in the evening to facilitate participants. Places are limited so if you are interested in attending please complete the booking form and return with payment to secure a place or alternatively call our office to check availability.

Cavan Company Wins Emerging Exporter Award 2008

Click on the link above to download press release. Cavan Company Wins Emerging Exporter Award 2008 Ballytherm Ltd, based in Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, scooped the Emerging Exporter Award 2008 at the Irish Exporters Association Export Industry Awards 2008 on November 5th last. This new award category, sponsored by the County and City Enterprise Boards, recognises exceptional performance by small Irish businesses in developing export activity. An Taoiseach, Brian Cowen was guest speaker at the ceremony and presented the awards, held in O’Reilly Hall, UCD. Ballytherm Ltd was established in 2002 by directors Brendan Cosgrove and Gerry Reilly. The company, employing 29 people, operates from a purpose built facility in Ballyconnell, manufacturing and supplying insulation products to the construction industry. At present, Ballytherm supply into markets in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom and plans to become an extremely robust insulation provider within the European insulation market. New School's initiative "up2me" launched

A new enterprise education initiative from Cavan CEB entitled "up2me" was officially launched on 14th October last. The aim of the initiative is to empower secondary school students with greater skills in personal development and entrepreneurialism.
